Tomato from Vallès Oriental

The lands of Vallès Oriental have historically become a place for growing tomatoes. Lately, a sector of farming in the region has recovered several varieties with the aim of gradually incorporating them into the crops of producers in the area.

With the aim of gradually incorporating them into the crops of the producers of the area, the local market and the dishes of the population of Vallès, varieties such as the Rosa Ple tomato from Parets del Vallès and Cardedeu have been recovered; the Vacarisses Beef Choir and Montserrat tomatoes; the Palosanto of Cardedeu and Argentona and the tardà of Riells del Fai; the Pink of hanging of Cardedeu and the hanging of Castellar del Vallès, among others. All of them offer natural and traditional cultivation processes, and have particular tastes of their farmland.
