€4.95

Scientifically named 'Brassica oleraceam', this winter cabbage is traditionally grown in Osona, favored by the cold climate, and is especially tasty. Galapet skin cabbage has a very curly blade and withstands the cold a lot. It has a dark green coloration and its leaves are thin.  It is planted in late July or early August, and is a small cabbage, one inch in diameter, which makes the bud very crowded and has many nerves distributed in the leaf. Its organoleptic abilities improve if during the growth process it has been quite cold. Very suitable for making cabbage rolls, it is also consumed boiled or accompanied with bacon.
