Mountain Potato of Peguera and Gósol

Cultivated in the foothills of the Pedraforca massif, more than 1,000 meters high, the mountain potatoes of Berguedà appear during the Christmas season. They have a more succulent texture, and are ideal for both baking, baking or frying.

The particularities of the location and harvest of mountain potatoes mean that production is low, and the harvest is carried out practically manually. They are dark in skin and stand out for being tasty and floury.
