PGI Clementina of Terres de l'Ebre

The climatic conditions of the Ebro Delta make it ideal for growing citrus fruits. In particular, the clementines in the area have a high quality, which has led them to achieve the recognition of the PGI. The varieties included in this certification are tangerines of the varieties Clementine Fina, Hernandine and Clemenula. The clementine of the Ebro Delta is a hybrid between the common tangerine and the bitter orange that is tastier and sweeter. The production of these clementines is carried out under integrated systems. With a very marked orange skin color, more elasticity, less bark thickness and its own hardness, they are very balanced fruits with good taste, juicy and above-usual sweetness.
