Chickpea from Oristà

This variety of chickpea is visually characterised by its small size. Traditionally grown for domestic consumption in the village of Oristà in the Catalan region of Osona, it is a chickpea with a lot of flavour and quick cooking time. It is sold in small quantities, which allows its high quality to remain intact. Due to the climatic conditions of the region where it is grown, its flavour is superior to other chickpeas.
