Sea Salt from the Delta de l'Ebre it's an indispensable product in any kitchen.

The Salinas de la Trinidad salt flats are located in the Ebro Delta, specifically at Punta de la Banya. Their total area is approximately 1,100 hectares. They draw water from the Els Alfacs bay to achieve a higher salt concentration than that of the sea. This water is deposited in a primary reservoir, which is then sealed and left to settle. They wait for the sun and wind to evaporate and concentrate the solid matter carried by the seawater; it is all a natural process.

When the optimal concentration is reached and supersaturation occurs, the salt begins to crystallize. This process can last from March to August. The salt is then collected and, before being sold, it is processed according to its intended use.
